Acme’s Six Feet Under

Located on Broadway, Acme is known for its excellent food and atmosphere. This October, they will be hosting their Six Feet Under party. Featuring music from Luthi, Sam McCrary, DJ Sister Sprouse, and DJ Brady the party will spread out over two floors. The doors will open at 6 pm with tickets starting at $15. Halloween Masquerade at The Standard

This is the 4th annual Halloween Masquerade hosted by Iconic Dames. This party is THE party for showing off your most elaborate Halloween costumes. Those who attend are here to impress, so bust out your most dapper apparel. Prepare to mix and mingle with some refined guests while munching on hors-d’oeuvres, sipping wine, and enjoying a cigar in the cigar lounge. There will be a dance floor and DJ for you to bust out some moves and a performance from a talented hoop and fire artist. Pumpkinfest

For families looking for an adventure, there is always the Pumpkinfest located in Franklin, TN. Just a thirty-minute drive south of Nashville, this festival is returning for its 34th year. There will be children’s activities such as face painting, pony rides, bounce houses, and other games. A costume contest takes place for both kids, adults, and their pets in the square! Participate in your favorite festival foods and the adults can enjoy a beer in the beer garden. It wouldn’t be a pumpkin festival without the pumpkins! Franklin’s Sister City is growing a great pumpkin perfect for your Instagram Stories, plus an extreme pumpkin carving demonstration from the Leiper’s Fork Carving Club. Gentry’s Farm Pumpkin Patch

For over twenty years, Gentry’s Farm has been providing family fun activities for the Halloween season. Offering a large selection of pre-picked and pick-your-own pumpkins, you and your family are sure to find the perfect one to take home. In addition to pumpkin picking, you can take a tour through their corn maze, hop on a hayride, pet their farm animals, swing on the tire swings, and play on the playground. Admission and parking are free for anyone who is wanting to pick pumpkins. There is a $7 admission fee to participate in the additional activities. Gentry’s Farm is open weekends and pumpkins are available only while supplies last!

Annual Hauntings at The Hermitage

Do you love a good ghost story? If so, The Hermitage Ghost Tour is for you! This after-hours tour through the Mansion and Andrew Jackson’s tomb will tell all the stories of those who “haunt the property” like the Bell Witch, the Battle of New Orleans, and even stories about the General himself. The tour is ninety-minutes and groups are limited to twenty-five people so get your tickets to the Hauntings at The Hermitage before they sell out!

Canoe the Caney Haunted Canoe Trip

If you like your ghost stories with a side of adventure, you’ll want to check out Canoe the Caney’s Haunted Canoe Trip. Every Friday and Saturday night, guests start at the old cemetery where they will hear chilling tales of ghostly visits, unexplained voices, and lost graves. After guests are taken down to the water’s edge, they board a canoe and paddle to the location of the 1800’s sunken cemetery that sits 15 feet below the water’s surface. Legend has it the spirits are trapped just beneath the dark waters of Cemetery Cove!
