The Electric Jane

The Electric Jane is a new collaborative dining and live entertainment experience that opened up in February. Located between the Gulch and Music Row, their craft cocktails and eclectic food menu draw inspiration from around the world. From vegetarian breakfast boards to beef tartare and homemade ice cream, there is truly something for everyone. You’ll also be able to try plenty of drinks ranging from cocktails and beer to wine, cider, and sake. If you’re in the mood for live music, they have two stages where you can listen to a variety of local artists like Oracle Blue.

Overlord

Located in East Nashville, this European Style Bar with 1940s decor has an array of craft cocktails, imported beers, and fine wine. Opened by Melvil Arnt of Once A Time in France and The Authentique, it follows his love for French-inspired food and drinks in an original and welcoming setting. And if you’re looking to add some fun to your week,  there’s plenty to do with Trivia Night on Sundays and Jazz Nights on Wednesdays. They’ll also be starting Blues nights on Thursdays in the near future.

Plane Jane

With no fancy signage and a walk around the back of a restaurant required to enter, Plane Jane is Nashville’s newest hidden gem. Owned by Marcus and Jennifer Bugs of the fast-casual chicken-and-waffle-cone restaurant, Coneheads, located upstairs, they bring a new perspective to Nashville’s cocktail bar scene. Centered around hip hop, the bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of live music including DJs and local acts. The cashless bar is located on Dickerson Pike and hosts a variety of events like Sunday comedy nights.

TailGate Brewery

If you’re a fan of craft beer and pizza, TailGate Brewery is the perfect spot for you. Since first opening its headquarters in 2014, the independent brewery has become a Nashville staple. Now with four taprooms in Nashville and one in Chattanooga, they offer the perfect all-ages atmosphere complete with an open-concept taproom and scratch pizza kitchen. Their newest location which opened in Germantown in June is conveniently located next to the Nashville Sounds stadium and the music venue Brooklyn Bowl. This location also marks Nashville’s first craft seltzery. In addition to their 30-handle lineup of craft beers and ciders, you’ll be able to try a variety of their small-batch fruit-forward seltzers.

The Twelve Thirty Club

With three levels, the Twelve Thirty Club has something for everyone. Located on Broadway, the first-level honky tonk offers live music and inventive cocktails with plenty of food options far from your standard bar food. If you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking to get dressed up, The Supper Club offers private dining rooms along with a bar and side-stage lounge tables. It’s the perfect space for a fancy yet relaxed night out. And if you’re looking for some fresh air, you’ll be able to enjoy The Rooftop Bar where you can sip on your cocktail with a perfect view of Broadway’s busy streets. Plus, if you’re looking for new brunch plans, their Rose The Rooftop brunch is every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
