Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so it’s time to start brainstorming ways to show that special someone that you care. 1. Valentine’s Wine Social

Few things are more romantic than a nice bottle of wine. But why settle for just one bottle? This Valentine’s Day, you can treat your sweetheart a full-scale wine tasting. This wine tasting is being put on by the Nashville Direct Cellars Wine Club, and it features artisan wines from such destinations as Argentina, Italy, South Africa, and more! The wines are paired hors d’oeuvres and the food is sure to blow you away.

This wine tasting in being held on Tuesday, February 14th, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. It’s set to be held at the “O” Gallery in Marathon Station. It costs $10 for a ticket, and space is limited, so be sure to head over to Eventbrite and buy a ticket as soon as you can!


2. Dinner & A Show At City Winery

This Valentine’s Day, consider buying a ticket to hear Rebecca Sayre, one of Nashville’s premier jazz vocalists and pianists, serenade you over a delicious 5-course dinner. Each course of this dinner is paired with a specially selected wine. However, if you feel like ordering a cocktail, the bar will be available to you as well.

The dinner includes mouthwatering dishes such as Seafood Crudo. Sockeye Salmon, White Chocolate, Parsnip Soup, Coca Rubbed Beef Tenderloin, True Chocolate Molten Cake, and more. This menu was prepared by chef Garrett Pittler and the wine pairings were selected by sommelier Jenelle Engleson. 3. Go See The Sound Of Music, Live!

We all know the Sound of Music as the musically whimsical classic film, but it’s also a play. And it’s a play that will be performed, on Valentine’s Day, right here in Nashville. In fact, Valentine’s Day is opening night for this production!

4. Go To The Art Museum

If you’re tired of the same old cliche Valentine’s Days year in and year out, why not shake things up and go some where new? The Frist is an amazing institution that, at any given time, is full of interesting exhibits.

5. Visit The Cheekwood Botanical Garden

The Cheekwood Botanical Garden is a great destination for any holiday, especially if you’re looking for romance. Valentine’s day is no exception. The gardens are a gorgeous walk during the day, but during this part of the winter, the Christmas lights are sure to still be up.
