A Guide to Halloween in Nashville 2022

 In Nashville

While you know Music City has plenty of live concerts and events to attend, you may not realize that there are plenty of Halloween festivities to take part in, too. From haunted houses and pumpkin patches to fall festivals and more, if there’s something “Halloween-y” you want to do, Nashville has something you will love.

Haunted Houses

When it comes to haunted houses, you will find some of the top in the country right here in Nashville. Our top picks include:

Nashville Nightmare

The Nashville Nightmares attraction is open until October 31st, and after you make it through the haunted house, you can enjoy “haunted” alcoholic beverages, try your hand at axe throwing, and have fun with the mini escape games.

Devil’s Dungeon

Located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, this is one of the most intense haunted houses you can experience in the area. The attraction features more than 20,000 feet of haunted and spine-tingling spaces to explore.

Ghost Tours

You have likely heard more than a few ghost stories about Nashville, now is the time to experience the truth. Ghost tours going on during the month of October include:

Haunted Canoe the Caney

This event takes you deep into the world of the Caney after dark. On the tour, you will make it into the old cemetery, where you can see a flooded town and lost graves. You will also come close to an old military recreation base and learn stories of hauntings that have occurred through the years.

Sam Davis Home Ghost Tours

During this ghost tour, you can experience a unique tour of this historic property and house. You can go on a haunted hayride and hear all types of haunting stories. Are they true, or just myths? You decide.

Fall Festivals

Are you searching for something that’s not quite as spooky and great for your entire family? If so, then one of the many fall festivals in the area will likely be just what you are looking for.

Lucky Ladd Farms

This is an award-winning fall attraction that provides an array of activities and fun for every member of your family. During your visit, you can get lost in the corn maze, get up close and personal with farm animals at the largest petting zoo in the state, and enjoy things like tractor train rides, pony rides, mega slides, a pumpkin patch, and delicious treats to eat.

Boyd’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Located in Clarksville, this fall festival is a family-friendly event and has all your fall favorites. During your visit you can pick your own pumpkin, enjoy decorating a jack-o-lantern, and use the site-provided wagons to carry your pumpkins with you. You can also get lost in the corn maze and view the award-winning gourds and squashes.

Bar Crawls

If you just want to enjoy Halloween and celebrate the season with your friends and favorite adult beverages, then planning to attend one of these bar crawls is a must.
